DIVE WHITE ISLAND, the Live Marine Volcano.
World class dive site, crystal clear water, 20 metres plus visibility. See large Kingfish, Stingrays, huge schools of Maomao, Golden Snapper and subtropical fish.
Join Dive White on one of it's surveyed vessels. Lunch and all refreshments supplied. Two dives accompanied by divemaster. Individual divers, our specialty.
Sportsworld Whakatane is the Eastern bay of Plenty's only PADI 5 star dive centre, which operates Dive White, the Qualmark endorsed visitor activity that gives divers and snorkellers an amazing two dives at White Island, New Zealands only active marine volcano.
Trips operate 7 days a week during the summer months and on demand during the winter. (weather dependant)
Lunch and all refreshments are supplied including Plunger Coffee, Hot Chocolate,Tea, Milo, Hot Soup and bottled water. The trips to White Island are about 8 hours in duration.
Check in time is 7:30 am at Sportsworld Whakatane, 186 the strand. Arrive back in Whakatane usually between 3:30 and 4:00pm.
The customer MUST bring with them on the day their certification card/log/book or proof of their dive experience.
