The hunting side of the business is complemented with the largest Fishing department in the Bay.  We manufacture Multi Strike Big Game lures and wholesale top quality bait.  There is a Dive, Camping and even a specialist petfood section within the store.  A visit to Whakatane Hunting and Fishing is an absolute must.  If you live out of town but can’t get to Whakatane often, you can now shop from the comfort of your own home utilising our E-Shop for all of you Hunting and Fishing requirements.  Prices as you will see are as sharp as anywhere!!

Graham Pyatt - Local Fishing Guide.
Graham came to New Zealand from England primarily because of his love for trout fishing and and has over 25 years of experience fly fishing the Bay of Plenty region. Graham has rapidly gained an international reputation for his in-depth knowledge of the sport and through his proven ability to provide his clients with fishing action at it's best.

He has designed his fishing adventures specifically with the visiting angler in mind and takes his clients to areas renowned as world-class fly fishing destinations. Whether you are an expert or a novice fly fisher, you can experience the thrill of fishing the many rivers and lakes in the central North Island, in pursuit of the abundant large brown and rainbow trout. Graham is a long-standing member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association (NZPFGA). By way of a change, you may want to experience the thrills of raft fishing the more inaccessible waters or night fishing the stream and river mouths; either way, your adrenaline is guaranteed to flow.

During the summer months, Graham can escort you to the many rivers and streams where you will be enthralled by the dry-fly fishing and extraordinary scenery all within easy driving distance from Whakatane. Fly-in trips to more remote areas by helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft can be arranged.
