What to expect
Specsavers Whakatane offers free hearing checks which are carried out by one of their audiology experts. The hearing test takes 15 minutes, to find out if there are any signs of hearing loss and gives an opportunity to discuss your results and determine if any further diagnostic testing is required, if further testing is required you will be encouraged to book in for further testing.
If further diagnostic testing is needed, you will be encouraged to book in for an hour long comprehensive hearing assessment. The cost of this appointment is $59.00.
During the appointment you can expect further hearing tests by an Audiology professional who will perform a comprehensive full diagnostic assessment of your hearing, to determine if hearing assistance will be of benefit to you. After the test you will then have the opportunity to discuss what options are available to you and if hearing assistance is required they will explain the high quality range of hearing aids available at Specsavers.
