Welcome to Takutai Adventures, Whakanes’s local eScooter, eBike & Stand Up Paddle board experts. We offer hire, lessons and sales from our collection point at Ohope Wharf. Our eScooters and eBikes make for a great family day out, we offer a detailed map showcasing local historical sites that we encourage riders to explore. We have two and three-hour hire options.
Takutai Adventures are Whakatane’s experts on SUP offering hire, lessons and sales. Our Stand Up Paddleboards are suitable for first-timers and seasoned professionals. Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)
We offer stand-up paddle board lessons, hire and sales from our Ohope Wharf location. For hiring options click here. As well as our single-person SUP boards we also offer the MEGLADON. The MEGLADON is the perfect option for groups, fitting up to 8 adults and 10 kids.
eScooter
Our eScooters are available to hire from the Whakatane i-site or our Ohope Wharf location. The eScooters are the perfect way to explore what Whakatane and Ohope have to offer. You will also receive a complimentary map with historic locations around the area for you to explore.
eBike
Our eBikes are available to hire from Ohope Wharf. We have two-hour, half-day and full-day hire options. The eBikes are available in a variety of sizes and have different setting options to cater for all rider experience levels.
