Julians Berry Farm and Cafe in Whakatane is a one stop shop for all your berry needs. As well as freshly picked, frozen and pick your own berries, we stock products made from our berries including jams, sauces, soaps, moisturisers, and many more. We have a beautiful outdoor sheltered cafe overlooking our farm and serve delicious home cooked meals and berry baking. Ask about The Party Deck, available for Children's Parties. Our most famous product apart from our lovely berries are the berry ice creams made from our own berries.
You can even challenge friends and whanau to a round of mini golf on our landscaped course or check out the Beach Volleyball set up.
There's also a playground for children and a basketball half court for the families to test their skills and work off the ice cream! So come on out, relax and enjoy.

Have a great day at Julians Berry Farm. While you sip your latte at the cafe send the kids to play in the play ground, or let them experience the Animal Farm.
Animal Farm
Our animal farm provides kids (and adults) with the chance to get up close to some farm animals. We have the usual favourites such as lambs and chickens, and if you are lucky you may even see horses or alpaca's!
Birthday Parties & Functions
The “Party Deck” can be hired for kids parties. The cost is $15 per person over 5 years old and $13 for under 5’s. This includes Mini golf, lollies, fries, nuggets and berries and of course a Julians berry ice cream. Available between 9 -12.30. then 1.30 - 5pm daily. Bookings essential.
We also take bookings for functions held 9am- 11.30am Saturdays & Sundays, or after school on weekdays. Bring your own cake, and enjoy complimentary use of the playground, basketball court and animal farm. More Information

Educational Field Trip
Learn play and taste at Julians berry farm and cafe. Our educational field trip is very popular with kohanga reos, play centres, kindergartens, schools, home based care. More information.
Pick Your Own
When berries are in season you can enjoy the experience of going out into the fields and selecting your very own berries.
Simply pay for your container at the shop and follow the signs. Berries will not change flavour after they have been picked, so make sure you pick berries that look ready to eat.
Shop
In our on site shop you can get your fill of a wide range of products, from our own berries through to locally grown produce such asparagus and avocados.
We also stock a number of award winning locally produced olive oils as well as macadamia nut products and local honey. More information
