MANAWAHE ECOLOGICAL COMMUNITY CENTRE
If you are looking for a truly special place nestled in native bush where quiet and bird song reign then MANAWAHE ECOLOGICAL COMMUNITY CENTRE is the perfect venue. The Centre provides ample space for meetings, courses, conferences, classes or other activities including school camps. The Centre has easy access to its own rugby field, tennis court and native bush.
Manawahe Ecological Community Centre is situated in the beautiful hills of Manawahe between Matata and Rotoma. Only 35 minutes from Whakatane, 45 minutes from Rotorua and 1 ¼ hour from Tauranga.

RUGBY PARK WHAKATANE

WHAKATANE LITTLE THEATRE
The Whakatane Little Theatre has tiered seating for 271 people, a large stage with some sound and lighting equipment and a rehearsal room.
Every year the theatre hosts a number of stage plays and performances from dramas to musical acts and special events.
WHAKATANE WAR MEMORIAL HALL & SPORTS STADIUM

This community facility is ideal for a variety of functions and events. The Reception Lounge caters for up to 300 people and includes full kitchen facilities and two bar areas. The Whakatane Little Theatre has tiered seating for 271 people, a large stage with some sound and lighting equipment and a rehearsal room. The Sports Stadium can hold up to 1000 people. Seating is available, along with a temporary stage and some tables.
