Ōpōtiki's biggest event is back for 2024, promising an action-packed day full of excitement and impressive displays of skill. From dust-raising barrel racing to bucking broncs from the hills of Gisborne, this rodeo showcases top competitors from around New Zealand and overseas in events such as bull riding and roping. 

The Ōpōtiki rodeo grounds provide the perfect setting for a day of entertainment and thrills, with something for the whole family to enjoy. Food vendors will be on site to keep everyone fuelled throughout the day, so bring your friends, pack your sunscreen, and settle in for a memorable event. Tickets are available at the gate—$20 for adults, $10 for children under 16, or grab a family pass for $50, which covers two adults and two children.
