Join the Soaked in Adventure 3 & 6 Hour Adventure Race for an unforgettable team event, perfect for both beginners and experienced adventure racers!
On Saturday, June 29, 2024, participants will navigate a secret course by mountain bike and on foot with their team of up to five people—friends, whānau, workmates, or schoolmates. They can choose between the 3-hour or 6-hour challenge, using a map and clue sheet to strategize and work together to collect checkpoints and complete mystery activities. The 6-hour course offers optional extra checkpoints for teams seeking a greater challenge.
Teams will make lasting memories as they traverse farmland, native bush, and forestry, aiming to collect as many checkpoints as possible before crossing the finish line within their chosen timeframe.

Friday, June 28, 2024
- 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Team registration and race pack pick-up at The Comm Whakatāne, 45 The Strand. (If participants cannot make it on Friday night, they can pick up their race pack on Saturday morning. Maps will be posted online on Friday evening.)

- 7:00 AM: Registration opens
- 8:30 AM: 6HR teams race briefing
- 9:00 AM: 6HR teams race start
- 9:30 AM: 3HR teams race briefing
- 10:00 AM: 3HR teams race start
- 1:00 PM: 3HR teams race finish & finish line burger
- 3:00 PM: 6HR teams race finish & finish line burger
