Depending on what you want to use your tow bar for you may or may not decide to get trailer wiring installed with your towbar. The wiring connection is used to power the tail lights on the trailer so people don’t crash into you. So if you are going to be towing a trailer or horse float then you will need tow bar wiring.
If you are only going to be using your tow bar for bike racks you probably don’t need a trailer wiring connection at all.
