Hearing Support BOP is a non-for-profit and has been providing a service to the Bay of Plenty since 1982.

Our purpose is to promote education, advocacy and support for the hearing impaired community and their whanau.

We do this in a number of ways, we support the needs of the hearing impaired either directly or indirectly, through education, disseminating information, and the provision of goods or services.

We advocate on the issues faced by those with hearing impairment and are a voice to enable them to enjoy full participation in their community. We promote and educate to various audiences, awareness and understanding of the causes, prevention, and consequences of hearing impairment.
