Te Kōputu a te whanga a Toi opened in June 2012. This multi-purpose facility is home to the Horizon Energy Library, Whakatāne District museum display and three gallery spaces – the Opus Gallery, Whakatāne Community Board Gallery and the Sheaff Family Gallery. Also within the building are the Little Orchards Activity Room and Atrium and the Bay Trust and Eastern Bay Energy Trust meeting rooms.
Exhibition Centre Charges:
Whakatane District residents and all children to year 13 - Free. Other adults - $5 recommended minimum donation.
